ADS Logistics Adds 10 New Eco-Friendly Tractors to Fleet and Expands Operations
As a sign that the company is investing in the future and planning for growth, ADS Logistics has announced the purchase of 10 new tractors and 37 trailers.

CHESTERTON, IN, March 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ADS Logistics' Area Transportation division recently purchased 10 new Peterbilt tractors and 37 trailers and has plans for more new equipment purchases in process.

"With the support of our customers, employees and stakeholders, ADS will continue to invest in the future success and growth of our company," stated Bill Ritter, President of ADS.

Mike Green, Director of Maintenance stated, "The new tractors purchased all have the new SCR engines and are eco-friendly as they require both diesel fuel and DEF (diesel emission fluid). The units are also equipped with DPF (diesel particulate filters) and emit zero particulate matter (soot) into the air. This new technology is another step in the right direction to clean up the air that we breathe."

In addition to the new tractors and trailers, ADS' Roll & Hold division recently relocated to a new 100,000 square foot warehouse in Shreveport, LA, providing customers with an additional 40,000 square feet of storage space. Matt Brinkley, General Manager of Roll & Hold and Western Intermodal divisions advises, "The new facility is temperature and humidity controlled and will allow Roll & Hold to expand their operations in the Port of Shreveport."
