Daniel Morgan Named Professional of the Year in Quality Control
Daniel Morgan possesses expertise in quality control, a keen eye for detail and the ability to assume many responsibilities

HENDERSONVILLE, NC, October 06, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel Morgan, Paint Team Associate for GE Lighting Solutions, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Quality Control. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Mr. Morgan possesses a keen eye for detail and the ability to assume many responsibilities. For the past 10 years, he has worked in various capacities for GE Lighting Solutions, a subsidiary of General Electric Company. He joined the company in a temporary position and has since taken on a number of permanent roles. Mr. Morgan has worked with safety teams, achieved mobile equipment certification and coordinated the paint department production schedule. In his current capacity as paint team associate, he utilizes his expertise in quality control. He is tasked with ensuring that castings are shipped, painted and readied for assembly; complying with warehouse coordination; and overseeing quality control, scheduling and operations.

Mr. Morgan, who earned an MBA in 2006, hopes to mentor those entering the industry in the years to come. He attributes his success to his positive attitude and being a team player. Aside from work, Mr. Morgan is a supporter of The Humane Society of the United States and Habitat for Humanity International.
