AMES, IA, September 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patrick Thomas Rouse, Chief Executive Officer of PF Transport Ltd., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business management and development.

Mr. Rouse is an expert in the areas of automotive mechanics, business management and development, and creative problem-solving. With more than four decades of professional experience, he showcases his versatile skill set as CEO of a transportation company by interfacing with clients, searching for new dealers who could benefit from the company's services, and transporting campers and livestock trailers from factories to dealers. He also makes arrangements with dealers to pick up the units, inspects units at the plant before delivering them to dealers, and completes all necessary paperwork. He was inspired to pursue his current career path by his desire to travel and see the country, as he and his wife were both retired, and his work allows him to travel and render vehicle transportation services simultaneously.

Mr. Rouse, who studied mechanics and heavy equipment and served in the U.S. Army for eight years, once used his quick thinking and expertise to save a man's life. When an elderly driver stopped his pickup truck to offer a ride to a hitchhiker, the hitchhiker pushed him out of the vehicle and began to drive away. Unfortunately, the man got tangled in the seat belt and was dragged some distance before he was able to break free. Mr. Rouse, who was doing traffic markings for the state when this occurred, ran to the man's assistance and provided first aid and medical attention until an ambulance arrived. The paramedics said that the driver would not have survived without Mr. Rouse's help. Mr. Rouse was subsequently featured in the publication "Insider for the State of Iowa" and honored with a Badge of Courage Award. Attributing his success to sheer honesty, determination and perseverance, Mr. Rouse is proud of his accomplishments. Going forward, he intends to open another branch of his company in the southern United States.
